What is a Bowl?

A bowl is a small, round container used with smoking devices like pipes and bongs for holding and igniting cannabis. To conserve cannabis and share fresh hits, practice cornering by lighting only a small portion of the cannabis at a time.

Loading a bowl

When packing a bowl, break up cannabis into small pieces, remove stems and seeds, and gently press it into the bowl, leaving room for the flame. Follow etiquette when smoking with others, including cornering the bowl, respecting the rotation, not hogging the device, keeping the mouthpiece clean, and communicating.

Cleaning a Bowl

To clean a bowl, remove leftover cannabis, scrape away built-up resin, submerge the bowl in isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, shake gently, and let it soak until clean. Rinse with warm water and air dry before using again.
